Elle Cee

My recent foray into photography has convinced me to not be afraid of color...  and provided a way to work spontaneously, shooting what I encounter. The natural world (the shadow of a wasp on rotting fruit, a dead sparrow caught in a frozen puddle, the cells revealed when a banana tree leaf is cut), and the industrial (the strange light-blue peeling paint on a guardrail, behind the neon sign of a wizard, the ribs that hold up the ceiling of a local airport terminal, the armature of a Ferris wheel.) I like to think that my images capture an unusual and unexpected view. One that may cause you to think twice when encountering the "mundane."
